Our ballet was wonderful and we are so proud of all of you! We would like to make it our yearly show. We will be having auditions in August for next years leads.
We have raised $100 of the $500 to sponsor a run from a VA kill shelter. Please consider bringing in your loose change or make a donation to “Joyful Rescues”.
Update on Juno! Juno is getting a wheelchair! Because of generous donations and a generous donor Juno is getting a wheel chair! (Juno is the dog who had 2 front legs amputated.) Woof2Hoof thanks the dancers at Patty Flowerday School of Dance for monetary donations and donations of our Act 1 Scenery! Thank you!
Recital fees and Costume Balances should be paid in full this month. Recital fee is $25.00 per family. This helps to cover the cost of renting the school, building scenery, insurance, custodians, interns, theatre manager salary and teachers! It costs about $5,000.00 to put on a recital so please invite lots of friends and family!
Please stop and check at the desk AFTER break to make sure your child’s name is spelled correctly! All dancers have their names on the back of our recital tees. We wear them when we perform at Seabreeze June 2nd and also for our recital finale.
We are closed from Monday February 19th and reopen February 26th.
We will be having a camp on Monday February 19th from 9:00-noon. Sign up is at the desk, Frozen is the theme, ages 3-6. $25.00 for students enrolled $30.00 for friends who are not enrolled! Bring a friend to sign up with you and your camp fee is $15.00!
With the spread of the flu we want to keep everyone healthy. Please keep your dancer home if they are sick. Encourage dancers not to touch ears, nose, eyes and mouth. Sing “Happy Birthday” song when hand washing!
If Penfield Schools or after school activities are cancelled due to the weather we will also close. Classes can be made up at your convenience.
Performers will be having 2 additional practices. Wednesday 7:00-8:00 and Thursday 6:00-7:00
Tee shirts are $15.00 and will arrive next Thursday! You will need suntan tights, black dance shorts, and tan jazz shoes!
A huge shout out to Miss Tanessa & Miss Stephanie for a great job! You will meet at the Blue Cross Arena inside the door on State Street at 12:45 you will dance @ 1:20.
Our theme this year is “Be Our Guest”. We have two shows on June 23rd at Penfield High School: 1:00 and 4:30. Our shows run approximately 2-2 1/2 hours. Most young dancers are in one show, however to accommodate sisters, some classes are in both shows. Please check with your teachers to see which show your dancer is in. Costumes are starting to arrive. No costumes will be sent home unless the costume balance is paid in full. All costumes come with one pair of tights. Please stop at the desk and give us your dancer’s tight size. If you dancer needs more than one pair of tights the second pair is $10.00. There may also be additional charges later for accessories such as props, shoe bows, hair bows, rhinestones, headpieces, etc. If your dancer was in the ballet they will need a second pair of suntan tights.
Registration is open to our students the month of February.
We will open it up to the public March 1st.
A $25.00 deposit will hold your spot!

- July 9th-13th Trolls Jazz Camp ages 7-12 $130.00
- Performing Arts “Descendants” Camp August 13th-17th ages 7 & up 9:00-5:00 with Friday performance! $195.00
*Sign up with a friend who is not enrolled at our school and you will get a 25% discount on your camp!
- 4 weeks of Summer Classes Monday-Thursday July 16th-August 10th ages 3& up!
We will also be offering ballet & jazz for teens and pre teens throughout the summer months so that you can keep improving on your technique!
